Why do Protestant Christians disagree on almost every subject taught in the Bible?

I wouldn't exactly say Protestants. Many religions teach different ways, I guess to their benefit. I don't like all these denominations who want to teach man-made rules. I take God's Word from the Bible to be the truth and should not be changed or altered.
