I adopted a gp and she feels very bony but eats well. How much should I feed her?
I cleaned her habitat (too small bought another to add her and another f gp). She seems small. I fed 1/8c Nurtiphase she came with, 1/8c KayTee Max for gp, 2 handfuls of Orchard grass, handful of Timothy Hay Marigold, 1/2c fresh spinach, 2/3 of a fresh baby carrot, and she ate every bit. I am afraid of overfeeding an underfed gp. How much should I feed her? I thought gp foods as above with 1 cup veggies and add small slice of fruit, and hay/grass unlimited as it disappears. I've bought her 1.5lbs baby organic spinach, 5lbs fuji apples, 2lb baby carrots, 15lbs gp kt max, 240oz of timothy hay before I even met her. I guess I will pick up some oranges tomorrow...suggestions from gp veterans please. She's my first gp baby. I had friends with them growing up and did internet search for info.
